Neck pain
Neck pain can include
…pain anywhere from the base of the skull to the upper back just above the shoulder blades. Pain can radiate into the mid back, shoulders and/or arms. Roughly 30% of the US population experiences neck pain annually, often stemming from sudden trauma or chronic spinal issues. Neck pain most frequently affects adults aged 30 to 50, and some studies suggest that women are more likely to suffer neck pain than men. Poor posture, obesity, smoking, repetitive lifting, office and computer work and athletic activity are some of the common risk factors for developing neck pain.
Neck pain can hinder daily activities
like work, driving or sports
…but most cases don’t require surgery and respond very well to physical therapy. Your therapist will design an individualized treatment program to help you reduce or eliminate pain, regain normal movement, and get back to your regular activities.
